My Wolf Suit music video on YouTube

Yesterday I posted the news about the brilliant new Superpowerless single 'My Wolf Suit' being available to download on iTunes. I am very pleased to report today that there is now an awesome music video to accompany the single.

New Superpowerless single released!

Available on iTunes today is the new single from Superpowerless. 'My Wolf Suit' is a parody of the Rebecca Black song 'My Moment'. I have only listened to her original once (honest!) so I could compare the two versions, but the parody is a much better song by far. 'My Wolf Suit' is well written, funny and very catchy. Definitely deserves a purchase!

It's been a while!

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since my last post. I think my mini-break in France at the beginning of the month put me too much in the Holiday mood. Rest assured though that my mind is now back on RetroRevX and it is now time to start making regular updates to the site once again. While you wait for the next lot of articles and console memories pages to emerge, why not take a look at these gaming sites I have found (or who have found me) in the last month. There are some really cool websites here, and there should be something to suit everyone's liking.

New content, new links and more

Hi,

This week I have some new additions to the Videos and Games page of the Revival section, and several new links that I have found recently.

First up, the Videos page now features a short video from director Shane English, in which a Pac-Man style scenario is brought to life through some fantastic video and effects editing. Watch the video here.

The Games page now also has some information about the new Captain America web game that has been released to tie in with the upcoming movie - http://retrorevx.co.uk/Games.aspx

If you look on the home page you will notice a slide show banner has been added to the top of the page. This is to help promote articles and sections that visitors to the site might not have been aware were there. The promoted pages will be changed on a regular basis, usually to coincide with the publishing of a new article or page.

And finally, here is a round up of the new links added to the site.

Blasts from the Past #1: X-Men Games

Hello all,

Today I bring you the first of my "Blasts from the Past" articles. These articles will focus on games from different gaming systems that share a similar theme or topic. Today's issue looks at X-Men games from the late '80s and '90s. It has been a lot of fun revisiting these games again, although as per usual I've experienced issues with video recording, editing and uploading that has delayed the articles publication. After many hours of perseverance though, all the reviews and videos are now online for all to enjoy.

NES memories and other updates

After many delays, the NES page is finally online! The latest problems emerged after uploading a video onto YouTube last week, at which point I realised that the way my videos were being encoded was causing frames to be dropped in YouTube. I have spent most of the week redoing the videos for improved playback online. I hope the wait has been worth it, as the NES page features my longest mini reviews so far and around 1 hour and 20 minutes of video game footage.

Other site updates include:

Comic book artist Nina Matsumoto now featured on the Art page - retrorevx.co.uk/Art.aspx

An update to my Games Lounge review containing information about Replay Events Ltd. - retrorevx.co.uk/GamesLoungeReview.aspx

New images added to the My Collection section:
id Software Collection Cyberdemon - http://flic.kr/p/9U4wCm
id Software Collection dog tags - http://flic.kr/p/9U4xT3
Mario Kart Wii candy dispenser 1 - http://flic.kr/p/9U1KHk
Mario Kart Wii candy dispenser 2 - http://flic.kr/p/9U1L7M

I hope everyone enjoys the updates and I will try to not take as long preparing the next one =D
